Think about how many times a week you toss your clean clothes from the washer to the dryer to make sure you and your family are outfitted for school, work, sports … life.

Some of us take advantage of it multiple times a day just to keep up with the wash load from our 4, 5, 6 family members.

Imagine being responsible for taking care of the dirty clothes of 85 young women, not to mention all of the caregivers who work daily to provide for these girls, without even ONE clothes dryer to assist you with this task.

At Nova Borova Internat, the clothes are dried by hanging them over an antiquated heating grate.

An Orphan’s Bright Star initiated the Commercial Laundry Equipment Project to directly address this need for Nova Borova.

Phase I: Completed

A commercial wringer and press were purchased for Nova Borova. The staff was ecstatic over the new equipment.

Phase II:

A commercial dryer can be purchased and installed on location for approximately $4,500 for Phase II of this project.
