The
children of Nadvirna Baby House will now be able to have a library
at their home. This initiative was possible thanks to everyone in
Parkland, Manitoba, Canada. The volunteer group has purchased &
sent over 50 Ukrainian childrens books to the orphanage. The
books range from learning the Ukrainian Alphabet, basic math, Atlases
to Nursery Rhyme books. Books allow children to dream and explore.
The first five years of a childs life are extremely important
and literacy is necessary. What a way to show our Ukrainian babies
how much we love them!
I cant
tell you how much fun I had this morning in the city, not at the
mall but buying books...oh it was great! The books, 12 homemade
quilts and 40 bath towels were sent on February 14th, 2009 from
Kalyanas located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
THANK
YOU!!!! HUGS!!!
