Summer is the time most of us will be reading for enjoyment
in some of our free hours. With very little effort you and
I can borrow a book or buy one, or lend a favorite story to
a friend.
Speaking
of friends, there are some special kids at Green Forest Internat
who would love to get some new reading material! These kids
can't ask a family member to get them a new book or take them
someplace to pick one out!
They
can only hope you and I will help them to get their new books.

Terrific news!
Green
Forest Internat has received, this fall, a large quantity of high
quality books for their Library. The books were obtained from a
generous publisher through the special effort of a long time OBS
supporter living in Ukraine. A number of literature loving donors
paid the reduced cost of the books and for the shipping.
Winters
in Ukraine are long and cold, so outdoor recreation is limited.
The children, age 7-17, will have some more time over the holidays
to enjoy reading these delightful books! Congratulations team!
